This Beginners level course takes place every Wednesday evening for 6 weeks, starting Wednesday 6th January 2027, from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Learn how to make your own silver ring in our bright and shiny jewellery making workshop in Birmingham. You will learn to make a wide silver ring band incorporating your very own cut-out design. A unique and personalised piece of jewellery for you to wear home at the end of the course or to give away as a gift.
This jewellery making course is suitable for complete beginners, or those who have attended one of our Taster classes or an experience day elsewhere. It takes place over six consecutive Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm-9.00pm. Step by step, you will learn drilling, saw-piercing, filing/buffing, soldering and polishing as you make and finish your ring. The tutor will make a silver ring alongside you to use their piece to demonstrate each step. You will be provided with a printed handout in case you need a little reminder along the way, and to refer back to if you’d like to make another ring! Each class takes you through the next stage of the process of ring-making, so please make sure you can attend all the dates.
