The JQ Pickleball group is currently on hiatus, but everything is in place for it to start up again with the right person leading it. The group previously met at the Sikh Community Centre and offered a fun, social way for local residents to get active and try something different.
At the moment, the main thing needed is someone willing to pick the group up and help run it. There is already equipment available, including two pickleball nets, eight paddles and enough balls to get sessions going again.
This could be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organising local activities and wants to help bring people together around a friendly, low-pressure sport. If you would be interested in helping relaunch the group, we would love to hear from you.
