Polish the JQ is a friendly group of local residents who come together to help keep the Jewellery Quarter clean and cared for. The group meets every two to three weeks in spring, summer and autumn, usually on a Sunday for one hour, to litter pick around the area.
It’s a simple, positive way to meet neighbours and make a visible difference to the streets where you live. In 2025 alone, the group collected more than 100 bin bags of litter from across the Quarter.
All equipment is provided, so it’s easy to come along and get involved whenever you can. Just join the WhatsApp group and say hello.
