Greening Jewellery Quarter Station

Find out how the Green Fingers Group is helping transform Jewellery Quarter Station through planting, care and community volunteering.

About The Project

In partnership with the Jewellery Quarter BID, the Green Fingers Group has replanted all of the planters outside Jewellery Quarter Station and is committed to keeping the area green, attractive and well cared for.

As one of the main gateways into the area, the station matters. It shapes how residents, workers and visitors experience the Quarter from the moment they arrive. By improving the planting outside the station, the group is helping create a stronger first impression and a space that feels more vibrant, more welcoming and more loved.

This work is part of a bigger ambition to bring more greenery into the Jewellery Quarter and improve the everyday spaces people pass through. The group will also be applying for funding to build on this progress and support further planting and improvements in future.

Residents can volunteer to help look after the space and be part of a local project that is already making a real visual difference.
