We’re looking for someone to help relaunch and lead the JQ Pickleball group in the Jewellery Quarter.
The group previously met at the Sikh Community Centre and offered a fun, social way for local residents to get active and meet new people. It is currently on pause, but the equipment is all there and ready to go, including two pickleball nets, eight paddles and enough balls to get sessions started again.
What the group needs now is someone willing to take it on and help get it running again. That could mean organising sessions, encouraging people to come along and helping rebuild momentum. You do not need to be an expert — just enthusiastic, reliable and up for helping create a welcoming local activity.
Whoever takes this on will get full support from the JQ Neighbourhood Forum, including access to its communication channels and a small budget to help get the group going again.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people together and wants to help restart something fun and community-led in the Jewellery Quarter.
