We’re looking for a Communications volunteer to support the JQ Neighbourhood Forum and help keep local people connected to what is happening in the Jewellery Quarter.
This is a practical, creative role that would suit someone who enjoys writing, sharing information and helping people stay engaged with local activity. The role includes choosing featured events for the website, writing a monthly email newsletter and posting content in the WhatsApp group.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to play a part in strengthening the local community and making sure residents hear about the events, projects and opportunities happening around them. You do not need to be a professional communicator — just organised, reliable and confident putting together clear, friendly updates.
This volunteer role would suit someone who enjoys spotting what is worth sharing and helping bring local information together in one place.
