This Park(ing) Day, parking spaces in the Jewellery Quarter will be transformed into temporary places for people, bringing together greenery, creativity and community in the streets of the neighbourhood.
Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Forum will be joining in with our own community stand.
Come and find us for a cup of tea and a biscuit, meet some of the people involved in the Forum and find out more about what’s happening across the Jewellery Quarter.
We’ll also be asking people to share their experiences of getting around the neighbourhood as part of our Safer Roads project. Whether there’s a junction you avoid, a crossing that doesn’t work, a street that feels unsafe or an idea you think could make things better, we want to hear from you.
It’s also a chance to discover our community groups, volunteering opportunities and campaigns, and find out how you can get involved in the neighbourhood.
No need to book. Just come along, have a cuppa and say hello.
